We at Calgary Henna Art use Jamila Mehendi ,which is 100% natural henna leaves dried and crushed to form a powder ,mixed with lemon juice and lavender oil to form a paste. Lemon juice and lavender oil both add to the natural dyeing property of the henna powder helping the faster release of the lawsone pigment, the staining agent found naturally in henna leaves and strengthens the final color.
